Roman Inspired Mosaic Plate

$34.99

This plate is inspired by Roman mosaic plates. It is made of COE 90 Bullseye glass that is arranged in a pattern similar to the ones on display in the CMOG in New York and in the Museum of Glass in Murano, Italy. It is made with cane, frit and mosaic chips that were fused in a kiln. The fussed glass was then slumped into a mold to give it a plate shape. The glass is 6mm thick and the piece is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch deep.
