Fund the MEDATS Project

Hi my name is Lykania or at least that the name I do my art under. I am a historical glass bead maker. And at the start of the year I took advantage of the opportunity to go England to present my hand made glass beads at a Medieval Dress and Textile Society Conference in York. The presentation is Norse Glass Beads Production, Chronology and Geography.

After excepting the opportunity to go my life was turned up side down and I have had to move my shop and my life across the state and for this first time in my 49 years I am on my own. This will also be my first time travailing out of country alone. I am looking fro help making this possible. I a asking for help raising $3000 to cover my time in York the conference and the my flight. My travels will also take me to Iceland and Netherlands. All of which I will share on my blog. If i hit my goal i should be able to add a second day to my time in England giving me more time to look at glass at the British Museum.
