This iridescent bowl is inspired by one at the Vatican Museum. It is not as deep as the original. The original dates from 1st to 2nd century CE. The item was made by draping glass onto a mold. The piece is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep with a rounded bottom. The glass is 6 mm thick. The glass is COE 90 Bullseye. This rim is hand polished up to 3000 grit using modern lapidary equipment.
This particular bowl has a flaw on the inside of the bowl were there is a dibit in the glass. I have reduced the price to reflect this. From $34.98 two $29.98.
