My Journey
In 2005, I won 1st place at Clan Wars for a piece based on a Scottish necklace.
I went on to explore items inspired by ancient Egypt, Greece, and the Norse/Vikings. Around this time, I began attending trade shows which allowed for access to higher quality beads. I continue to attend these shows today. I started to regularly work with gemstones such as amber, quartz, amethyst, and lapis. I even included some lampwork beads, though, not ones made by me. I continue to enjoy working with Norse and Egyptian finds for inspiration. The Egyptian set remains in my hands as well as the collection of Norse items. The others pieces went on to find new homes.
