Large Coin Annular Brooch With 6mm Amethyst Cabs (First One)
This annular brooch was made from hand struck reproduction coins. The coin center is then punched out and the outer rim becomes the brooch. The brooch is about the size of a quarter and are made from a reproduction of the Dirham-Abbasid Caliphate Coin.
The coin is 22 gauge sterling silver and the setting and the pin is also sterling silver. There are four, 6 mm amethyst cabs set in a cross pattern.
This is my first such piece so there are some imperfections with the solder work and cab placement. I have priced it with consideration of those imperfections.
