Glass Objects
These objects are made based on historical finds. A variety of methods are used to produce them including furnace work, flame work, kiln work, cold work, and wet work.
Roman
Based on a grooved bowl in the CMOG. Roman, dating to 140 - 40 BCE.
Roman Striped Mosaic Bowl
Inspired by a striped mosaic bowl on display at the CMOG. The original dates to 25 BCE to 50 CE.
Roman Mosaic Checker Plate
Based on a Dish of mosaic glass with a blue red and white chequer board design; about 25 BC-25 AD in the British Museum. Said to be from Turin ( Italy ), probably made in Egypt. (Room 70, British Museum, GR 1922.5-17.1.)
Roman Iridecent Bowl
Inspired by a Hemispherical iridescent bowl on display at the Vatican Museum. The original dates to 1st to 2nd century CE.

Roman Glass Rings
The blue one is based on a ring in the Vatican Museum and the yellow one is inspired by one in the MET.
