This coin is of “Sitric Silkbeard” Hiberno-Norse Ruler Sitric or Sigtrygg II Silkbeard Olafsson, Viking King of Dublin 989-1036 Phase I Long Cross, originally based on the Aethelred CRUX type. This coin was made by James Coffman and was used by him until he sold it in an auction and well, now it is mine :).
I really like this coin. I never thought I was going to win the auction. Other’s loss is my gain.
And as with the other, I made some earrings and coin brooches out of this new coin reproduction.
