My Early Work
My Journey
I began working with mail in 1990. The bulk of my early work was mail belts, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and even a few armor items. I taught myself to make 4 in 1 mail, however, I was gifted a ring making machine that greatly improved the consistency of my work. A few of my early items were gifted to people in the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) who are important to me, and others were commissioned. These early projects created the ground work for where my art is today. While my ring maker eventually got left behind, many of the tools I used back then, are still in use today.
