Italy & Greece Tour Part XII: Headed Home
My Journey: Greece, France, and Home
Athens, Greece

We woke up early to be taken to the airport by the tour company. When I say early, I mean like 3:30 am. Sleeping was a joke.
Before departure, there was a lot of running about trying to get our VAT tax refunds taken care of only to be told to take care of that in Paris.
Greece to France Flight
With day light, we could see the snow capped mountains and before long, we were landing in France.
Paris France
We ran all over the Paris airport looking for a place to get the Vat refund but turned out the only place was on the other side of security and the folks at border patrol were like you can either get you money or catch your flight so we chose the flight. Then, we discovered our gate had changed. Anyways, it was a whole mess of an adventure.
France to USA Flight
We were damn happy to back in the air and out of the Paris airport. Our flight took us over the English Channel.
Before we knew it, we were passing over London, then Wales, and Ireland before cloud cover hid land from us.
The next land we saw was Canada.
Then, we were landing in Atlanta.
Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America
Back home, we had very little time to rest as the following weekend we were back on the circuit with a local art market.
I also began prepping for Pennsic 50 by letting all the things we had seen provide some inspiration.
Back home, we took a week or so to relax and recover from the trip. Lots of time spent cuddling with the cat over those first few weeks back.
