Ancient History: Atlanta Museum Visits
My Journey
Me and my best friend, historian Lionel Taylor, visited the traveling Tutankhamun exhibit and the First Emperor Exhibit. We also visited the Renaissance artist exhibit at the High Museum. Neither allowed photography so all I have is the promotional materials to look at, oh, and some statues from the High.
However, Emory University’s Carlos C Museum has quite a collection and we visited the exhibits there as well. We also visited a traveling exhibit about Howard Carter and the permanent exhibitions there had a lot of Mediterranean artifacts.
I am thankful that Lionel took me to see these exhibits with him. I only wish I had been as diligent with documenting my trip then as I am now.
